These laid-back, family-friendly fundraisers feature Middle Tennessee’s finest bluegrass music under the light of a full moon. Musicians and music lovers alike are invited to enjoy this beloved Nashville tradition in one of its most beautiful settings: Warner Parks. Bluegrass and roots pickers jam in circles under the trees and around the grounds, while three headlining acts perform on the main stage. All funds raised by the Pickin’ Parties go directly toward protecting the Warner Parks as well as funding educational programs and special projects that benefit park-goers of all ages! Blackpot Camp, Festival & Cookoff is going on its 12th year as a celebration of the music, food and culture of Southwest Louisiana. There's plenty of live music, jamming, dancing and delicious food to be found there. The camp will be taking place during the week of October 22nd - 27th, followed by a festival with some amazing musicians and a Cookoff the weekend of October 27-28th.  

The festival takes place at the Vermillionville Historic Village in Lafayette, LA. Camping at Vermilionville will take place on the baseball fields. Tickets can be purchased here

On the Saturday before the eclipse, thousands of visitors will be in Gallatin looking for an experience before the big event. On the sidewalks of downtown Gallatin, bluegrass musicians are encouraged to bring their group or join in with others to bluegrass standards. More info here.
