Jill Robbins grew up in South Carolina and has lived in Nashville since 2002. She began listening to bluegrass in college and started dabbling with guitar and mandolin shortly thereafter. Last year she fell in love with playing Scruggs style banjo. She met fellow board member Michelle Haft at a Nashville banjo camp in 2016. Through Michelle, she learned of the Handsome Ladies and knew right away that she wanted to be a part of this excellent organization. When not jamming or practicing, Jill keeps up with her three young children, husband Sam, and old dog, Hartford Bones.
